What a Parade! Pedal Power cycles and volunteers were out in force to help create an incredible spectacle to kick off this year's Butetown Carnival. Pictured are volunteer Joyce and Burhan from Innovate Trust. We even made it in to Wales Online! Thanks to local artist Niki and her crew who created some incredible paper sculptures to adorn the bikes.

Thanks to local artist Niki and her crew who created some incredible paper sculptures to adorn the bikes. Road closures - this Sunday 6th SeptemberThe Kidney Wales Cardiff 10K will cause a number of rolling road closures along the route from 9am to 1pm. Route passes close to Pedal Power so access will be disrupted during the morning. You can see route and timed closures here. Roads should be open from 1pm at the latest. There are also cricket matches scheduled for the 8th, 17th and 24th of September which may mean that access will be via Dogo Street on those days. Opening times changing next week!Summer has officially ended (the weather certainly got the memo), the schools go back this week and we will move to our Autumn opening hours from Tuesday 8th September: Cycle Hire - 10am to 5pm (last hire at 4pm) Cafe - 10am to 5pm (last order at 4.30pm) You'll have a break from these newsletters for a couple of weeks as I will be on leave - back week on 21st September! Pedal Power Events & NewsCor Meibion Taf performing at Pedal Power!6-8pm, Wednesday 16th September - award-winning Welsh Male Voice Choir - Cor Meibion Taf - will be performing here at Pedal Power to raise funds for us.
