Pedal Power Ride Leader training

Inclusive Ride Leader Training

Pedal Power has 30 years of experience in inclusive cycling.  During this time, thousands of people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds have enjoyed our led rides.  We have a large fleet of standard and non-standard cycles- trying these out is essential for ride leaders aiming to run truly inclusive rides.  Our course instructors regularly lead rides themselves and are experienced in teaching others to become ride leaders.

Facilitated by two qualified cycling instructors in groups of up to eight participants.

This course usually takes place at our learning centre in Cardiff.  Please get in touch to discuss course options in other areas.

On course completion you will receive a Pedal Power certificate of participation.

‘I really enjoyed the course… Putting the theory into practice in realistic scenarios and being able to repeat - this solidified the theory, highlighted the potential risks and pitfalls and for me, reinforced the responsibilities of ride leaders.’

Participant, June 2026

Customer Feedback

This road cycle training was a game changer and really helped me to ditch the car and progress to using my bike to get to work.
