Have your Say: Adamsdown and Splott Placemaking Plan Do you live in these areas? Cardiff Council's Development & Regeneration Team is creating a Placemaking Plan for the wards of Adamsdown and Splott — and want to hear from residents. This plan will be developed with the community to help identify: · local priorities · key issues or problems · opportunities for the future This plan will focus on improving the places where people live, work, and spend time. To do this properly, we need to understand your lived experience of the area. This questionnaire is the first stage of the process. It asks about: · everyday experiences of local centres, streets and public spaces · movement and travel around the area · access to green spaces and play · community life · longer‑term opportunities for the neighbourhood Over the summer, they will also: · hold in‑person engagement sessions; · speak with community groups and local organisations; and · come to speak to people at local community events and clubs. Following this stage, they will begin developing a range of options. These may include: · shorter‑term changes · longer‑term projects involving different partners Age Friendly Cardiff have asked us to circulate the following to our communitiesSurvey to better understand what helps people living with long-term mental health conditions to maintain and improve their physical health, the barriers they face, and what changes would make the greatest difference to health outcomes. The survey can be accessed here: Arolwg Cenedlaethol Iechyd Corfforol a Chyflyrau Iechyd Meddwl Hirdymor – Fill in form Details of Heartburn Health, a national research programme taking place across Wales, looking for people who experience heartburn, acid reflux or indigestion. You can do this by calling 101 or online You can also report a crime anonymously via CrimeStoppers In an emergency always call 999. That's it for now - have a great week! |
