12 Hours for Pedal Power is sponsored team cycling event to raise money for Pedal Power. Run as a team relay, the event is being held at Cardiff’s Maindy Velodrome on Monday 17th August from 6am to 6pm, and we’re inviting cyclists, teams, clubs and supporters to sign up now and take on this exciting team challenge. In doing so, you’ll be directly supporting Pedal Power – a charity at the heart of Cardiff’s cycling community.
Key facts:
Event is a non-stop cycling team relay running from 6am to 6pm
Open to adults and children from age 11
Team event with each team having 8-12 members
Teams must have one person riding for each of the 12 hours
Riders will be on velodrome track (suitable for 2-wheel, recumbent trike and tandem cycles)
We’re asking each team member for raise at least £100
